Iraq has never attacked America. We used Iraq to attack Iran. But we did not intend to let our dog off his leash to attack any country of his choosing. We did not mind that he gassed the Iranians. And we said next to nothing when he gassed the Kurds. But when he moved into Kuwait without our authorization (BTW, he thought he did have our permission, but that is another story), he was then peeing on the wrong lawn. For that he must be put down. But make no mistake, he was just as much of a nasty, dirty dog back in the days when he was "useful". We do not attack foreign leaders for the crimes, we attack them when they are in our way and of no further use.
