Peter,

I think of GERN in much the same way as ARIA. Been around a long time with no product due for a long time still. I could see the GERN PR machine firing off a breathy release when the AACR presentations -- there are several related to telomerase, but only two that directly affect GERN -- are actually given. I don't expect them to add anything of substance to the abstracts cited.

I think the speculative pheromone will get blown away soon, as the easy part of the war is behind us, the hard part in front of us. I am starting to rehedge my positions -- just bought some cube puts again (sold a small batch for a small profit Monday).

IDBE has popped up for no apparent reason. Perhaps folks think they have a SARS play? Short at $7, full position, stop at $7.40.

Putting AFFX in the WatchList. Love 'em, but they're expensive, and I would not expect big earnings surprise potential or upside to guidance.

Cheers, Tuck
