Sorry, official deployment began last year. It's not a significant force, yet. But, because deployment has begun, it will be a major factor in the next few years.

It is by NO MEANS any longer "a dream" It is the anti-American left's worst nightmare. AND it is no longer, technically, a research project. It is a bona-fide component in the American arsenal.

Stay tuned for more. Incidentally, "launch on warning" is no longer a dirty word. THAT bit of KGB-formulated propaganda is dead, dead, dead. LOW will be a primary leg in the SDI stool. Mounted on cruisers and destroyers, LOW will be stationed strategically around the world, near any nation that is developing nukes, and will be engaged immediately if negotiation on voluntary disarmament stall.

It will become a waste of time for the human-like monkeys to build nukes, and a danger for them engage in Saddam-like human rights abuses, if they expect to keep their jobs...
