You take her too seriously, Bill. She is just there for laughs. She sniggers and smears. Nothing she says is of any importance.

Every sentence in the first half of today's Dowd column can be challenged for accuracy. She builds her argument on false premise.

Go right ahead. Make your case. Those sentences look quite reasonable to me. They aren't "false," but they are certainly cast in an unfavorable light to brother Bush.

She's working the sarcastic humor configuration and she's the best in the world at that sort of thing. She did it to Clinton and now she's doing it to Bush II. An equal opportunity practicioner of world class sarcasm.

Maybe if she bothers you so much you should just skip the op ed pages of the Times, or skip her column, or whatever. Life is too short to get so upset.
