Assyrians, Chaldeans etc. Yes I knew about them but I cannot find anything about Tarik Aziz being Arab Christian or in reality one of the minority groups.

The Assyrians were promised a homeland upon breakup of the Ottoman Empire also.

This post infers Aziz is an Assyrian ? and look who else :o)

Iraq is governed by the Baath party. Baath ideology was founded by Michael Aflak, a Christian Arab. The Iraqi vice-president, Tarik Aziz, is a devout Christian. Religion is never a source of conflict in the world. It is only used conveniently to justify conflicts over resources and racism. nationaudio.com
Wonder if it is true ?
