In the short run no. But in the long run certainly their people think so. This is a defense mechanism that says I am going to take poison to make myself so tasteless you will not want to eat me. After I feel safe from you, I will take vitamins and feel better.

Truth will be revealed to Sun after this war doesnt cause the horror he predicts. Every pronouncement by Sun is gloom and doom--"the result of his ideology not his ethnicity" says my iranian penpal. My iranian friend also says Iran's liberation hopefully thru peaceful"(r)evolution"(his use of the word) will be speeded up, not slowed, if this war ends up being as successful as it now appears.
