it is a matter of opinion. UK (especially airforce) put one hell of a heroic resistance but if hitler would make peace with Russia and US he would end up in England as well, JMHO

BE....It is hard to discern what would have happened with England were we to exclude the second front and lend lease. Of course, I still haven't figured out the miracle of Dunkirk...<g>

Certainly UK was on their knees and needing psychological help as well as physical and financial help.... I don't think England would care to repeat history without the aid of the US or Russia....

Of course, Russia's position was thrust upon her...
