Unfortunately, the next 12-18 months in the stock market and economy are going to shock and awe, in a plunge that will leave even the bears surprised...>> portage: I agree that 'change may be coming in '04.'...Yet, I'm not sure about a massive plunge in the market...We've already had one...Things can get worse though...The UNintended consequences of not effectively managing our economy and recklessly invading Iraq could show up...Bigger deficits, states cutting valuable services, companies cutting more jobs, an increase in terrorism at home --> all of these things are expensive psychologically and tough for the nation to deal with...I do think folks will want new leadership in '04...Prepare for Karl Rove & Co. to create distractions and aggressively go after an opponent. -s2@letshopethemediadoestheirjob.com
