It is quite a mess, isn't it?

Well, it certainly did not have the advertised effect on the economy, did it? Do you think that Bush is pleased with the economy? Do you think that he fired the previous advisors because they were doing a good job?

Do you think that the Republicans who cut his proposed tax break in half are liberals? If the Republicans control the House, Senate, and Presidency, why can't they increase consumer and business confidence? Why is unemployment still rising, while manufacturing dropping?

What happened to the Republican mantra of taking responsibility? What happened to the 'buck stops here' crowd? How long will Republicans continue to blame others for problems that they cannot seem to fix?

Reports and evidence shows that Bush continues to spend the vast majority of his time on the war. He needs to get some focus on the economic problems, else when the war clouds clear, he's going to see that it is not terrorism that is sinking his presidency, but "the economy, stupid".
