The Hazara in central Afghanistan are partly derived from Mongolia following the Mongolian invasions btu strangely they are Shiites which is why the Taliban persecuted them). They speak Persian dialect (Dari) I think :) North western Afghans are Turkmen and Uzbeks who are on the border zone between Caucasoid and Mongoloid peoples and Turkic speaking. The South and NE has Caucasoid people - Pashtun, Tajik etc who are Indo-European speaking.

Now I'd better go look up and find all the mistakes I made :)

There are so many websites on just Aramaic out there. I just found that 4th and 5th century Aramaic manuscripts use that modern Aramaic Alphabet so it must have developed in the same direction as Arabic (towards cursiveness) independently.... so where does the modern Hebrew script come from? We always called that Aramaic script.
