Hello Christopher Hodgkin, As an academic, which your profile presents you as, I think you have an obligtation to be clear and specific in the principles you are putting forward, and not to mix up issues in a confusing way. Constitutionally protected free speech and academic freedom are two totally different things. It is vital to know which one you are arguing (or whether you are arguing both) in order to have an intelligible discussion instead of just a mutual rant. Off topic.
