Hi Jill! Good to see you on the porch. FWIW. My wife and I went to China a little over three years ago. A week after we got there 75% of our group of about 40 came down with a very similar ailment (respiratory). There were some distinct differences (antibiotics took care of us), but the interesting thing said by our tour group leader was, that this happened all the time.

Jill, I've wondered the same thing. Without minimizing the seriousness of the current strain, hasn't a "Hong Kong Flu" of some sort been around for quite some time? Hope all is well. jpg

Hi jill! Good points on Flu and SARS. Hi jill! "Hong Kong Flu" Yes! I think we all had that some time back...... BTW: I heard on the news this afternoon the mask that they are all wearing to prevent getting SARS do not help. Take care of yourself. dealie
