I don't believe you weren't joining the jackal this morning and mustering a gang rape of JohnM. Very funny. Very self-revealing. However, I was telling the truth. Well, the truth as far as my poor little intellect so trapped by my bias would let me see. I think you confuse bias with comittment. I am deeply comitted to the ideas expressed in my post. It's a thoughtful choice, one I rethink and rechoose daily. As for the right-left-right stuff, I am just having some fun. The left went so far over the top before the war that the absurdity of it all needs to revealed. Paul Krugman comparing the Dixie Chicks backlash to KristallNacht is now iconic of this period of time. It is also true, from a trend watching POV, that I see a backlash coming and I am started to document the early signs of it. Sadly, just as the anti-war folks crossed the line and kept going, I am afraid the backlash will be just as harsh. However, victory will temper at lot of the anger, so my fear is probably not warranted. Paul
