If idiots like you no longer find a receptive audience when you recite the Carvillesque anti-American propaganda, the reality that Clinton/Rubin created this deflation-Rubin because he is some kind of nut, and Clinton because, like Gephardt, he figured that, somehow or another, he "could win 40 House seats"-then we will be able to CURE the Clinton/Rubin disaster by returning the money they STOLE from the American taxpayers to its rightful owners, and bring back the Reagan boom (to which everyone, especially YOU, owes their JOB)...

"fixing what is broken, and acknowledging blame when that doesn't happen"

I am sure you will acknowledge that Bush is doing just that. We were left vulnerable as 9-11-01 demonstrates and our brave leader is fixing that with all our resources. Our economy is actually pretty good considering we are coming off an obscene greed driven bubble that I AM SURE YOU WILL ACKNOWLEDGE (unless you feel that multiples in the 100's and multi BILLION $ valuations for companies WITH NO REVENUE are the norm). Currently unemplyment at under 6%, no inflation to speak of and 3% annual growth.

Why do you dems INSIST on saying things are worse than they are?

The answer is that you are either politically driven and attacking the President as a strategy, or you are an idiot. I don't see any other possibilities.

Truman was the "Buck Stops Here".

I loved Harry. He even gave me an extra year in the military during the Korean War, as is being done today.

But, really, I did have respect for the little guy as he had guts, much like our present Commander.

Ken

Past aside, Bush is in *severe* danger of being viewed as the one at the helm of a huge economic disaster. He needs to get his head up above the details and plot a strategy for getting us back to prosperity.

Difficult to do when the 'opposition' is doing everything it can to ensure the country remains in a recession until the next election as they hope for a rerun of the 1st. Bush's defeat. According to various economic think tanks and economists passage of the full 'tax relief bill' would generate 2 million jobs, but, passed in the Senate version, half of the package, would cause generation of 1 million jobs less than the full package. Hopefully the reconciliation bill will be closer to what is needed for revival of the economy and put breadwinners back to work.
