Speaking of cool
Was a balmy 33° here today.
Since I'm a stones throw from a lake that is still 70% or so frozen
It's been a tough spring.

Check this out
the maple trees are still runnin too.
Tueesday I got about 9 gallons of sap from the one tree I've tapped.
With this weather
I should bee good for a while still
Might end up with a gallon or so of syrup this year.
and the first batch is remarkably sweet.
