Check every poll until right before the war. The US was pushing Bush to strongly seek UN and coalition partners. Part of the reason is that Bushies made Saddam such an exaggerated mighty boogey-man, people were scared and thought we needed more help. When you tell people Saddam could attack and destroy America, expect people to urge caution. I am shocked Saddam is falling so easily. We could wipe him out within days. He was a paper tiger, an emperor with no clothes. And our military rocks!
