I think war may go wrong, because there has been no real fighting for the cities in Iraq yet. Fighting for Baghdad will likely bring heavy casualties. I think everyone believes the outcome of this war is a given, but I would not be so sure about it. If there are heavy casualties, there will be increased pressure on Bush and Blare to stop the war.
