While we're pondering the last set of questions about pulling out before we do any more damage, we are being overtaken by events. Once the coalition has control of Iraq, does any of that matter? I can see the argument for withdrawing before fighting kills more civilians, but does that argument fall flat once that risk is past because the fighting is pretty much over?
