Re: Here's a reality check for ya -- so many people want to come to the United States to live and work and be given a chance that we have to limit their numbers. And the number we grant residency to is HUGE. Please tell me another country that has the same demand for immigration. If the current US policy towards minorities (Arabs, South East Asians, Muslims,...) is any indication, soon you'll have to rewrite the above statement in the past tense.... I predict that China will be the America of the XXIst century. As more and more Chinese become affluent, they'll turn away from menial jobs and bring in immigrants (from Eurasia). Also, just as Europeans were attracted by the riches of the New World in the XIXth and XXth centuries, more and more people around the world will flock to Asia's glitzy megapolises in the coming decades....
