"Oversupply" - the dreaded words.

Fact: This article clearly speculates that manufacturers are producing more units than China needs. More units than QCOM's & Chinas estimate, meaning more royalties for QCOM than planned for 2003. Clearly Positive for QCOM's 2003 earnings.

Fiction: Analysts will harp on the "Oversupply" to indicate an inventory build up issue, that will clearly be negative for QCOM.

lowered cost of handset subsidization drives the market to long term success, no? The buttheads persistently see CDMA as pushed into a "niche". Faulty vision.
