U.S. stock funds have outflows of $1.6 bln in latest wk

Funds investing primarily in U.S. stocks witnessed outflows of $1.6 billion during the week ending April 2, estimates Trim Tabs director of research Carl Wittnebert, after taking in $3.7 billion in new money the week before. Meanwhile, international fund flows were flat, versus outflows of $800 million the week before. Bond funds had inflows of $2.4 billion, adding to inflows of $2 billion the prior week.
