09:17 ET S&P futures vs fair value: +6.8. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: +9.0.
Futures trade moves near its best levels of the morning, and as a result, the indices should start the day on an upbeat note... Conversely, the treasury market has been underwater this morning, as the steady advance on Baghdad has dragged treasuries lower, with the 10-year note down 14 ticks, for a yield of 3.97%.

08:55 ET S&P futures vs fair value: +4.9. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: +5.0.
Stage remains set for a higher start for the cash market as traders have not blinked an eye at the slump in March nonfarm payrolls... The market's fixation on the progress on the war front, along with the recognition that the employment report is largely a lagging economic indicator, has contributed to the positive tone of trading in the futures market.

TV talking heads have never suggested manipulation or PPT because it outside of the limited phrases they have memorized to say at different times[.]

Sounds to me like there's an opportunity there, G.D. In the name of all that is good, fair, and just, I strongly encourage you to reveal the truth of the PPT and its market interventions to the world (accompanied, of course, by the considerable evidence supporting its existence). You could write a book or a few editorials to start, eventually get a few TV appearances, etc.

After all, people need to know what's going on behind the scenes, and they're apparently being grossly mislead; maybe you can bring the light of truth to them?

you've been doing this longer than i: this flat tabletop we're forming, is this more indicative of a launching pad or a cliff edge? it seems to me that "bottoms" would be smoother than tops...
