Oh God - REEL CANADIANS - what a bigot you are with your veiled anti-French sentiment! Many years ago in the 70s I was President of a mutual fund group in Montreal. We used to be visited by the manager of our Vancouver branch. He always had a good time and was well received in Quebec. Imagine my surprise when my wife and I visited him in Vancouver and over dinner he swore that if you didn't speak French to people in Quebec they would spit in your face! Some things never change. And some people never change and never will.

You use some old arguments. Of course Canada would join America in a just war and surely you don't need to be reminded as a REEL Canadian that Canada was in both world wars years before America, raised a huge military force and lost tens of thousands of brave soldiers. So don't lecture me about Canadians' lack of purpose and sacfifice.

First of all, if you are Canadian then you would know that there are Canadian soldiers in Iraq right now. They may or may not be involved in battle but they are serving a purpose. For political reasons, our defense Minister won't reveal their activies.

Secondly, as a Canadian I'm sure you know that Canadian troops are in Afghanistan. They are relieving US troops, allowing the latter to be sent on mission to Iraq.

So inform yourself and quit stomping on the Canadian flag.

Thirdly, why don't you get with the times. Seems to me that you are living back in the 60's. If you truly are Canadian and somewhat literate then you should know that French Quebecers have not supported Chretien and his Liberal party for decades. I'm sure you've heard of the "Bloc Quebecois", the political party voted to power over a decade ago by mostly French separatists to dismantle Canada. They weren't voting liberal, were they?

So quit showing your ignorance of Canadian politics.

Lorne, I am always interested in learning from other peoples perspectives.

Could you provide a list of countries who might invade Canada? Do you think that Iraq had plans to invade?

What countries have previously invaded Canada?

If you were from Quebec, What countries would you include as having invaded Canada?

If you were a Native Canadian, What countries would you include as having invaded Canada?

If you were a Canadian Politician and were seeking to build up support for a Canadian invasion of Iraq, what arguements would you use to entice young Native Canadian men and women to enlist in your expedition?

What would be the short and long term objectives of your expedition?

Have you and any of your friends made any attempts to raise money and organize a group of Canadian Volunteers for the invasion of Foreign Nations? If so, how is it going?

Has the Canadian Government prevented you from signing up for service in the armed forces of Britian or the U.S.?

Have you and your friends made any attempt to sign up for service? Why or why not?

Would you prefer that you just say that you are in favour of invading Iraq and have someone else do it? Have you made any personal contributions towards the invasion of Iraq? Sent a $100 Canuckbucks? Why or why not?

Do you perhaps have sons, daughters or grandchildren of military age that you have sent in your place? How do you suppose that they or you would personnaly gain from invading Iraq?
