Saddam's atrocities require accountability and the UN failed to hold him accountable.

I urge you to take a look at the UN Charter. It is not a community that judges governments according to what atrocities they commit. It is not an aggressive platform.

If you care to argue for another international body that will do just that, be my guest. However, I doubt if there will be many countries willing to sign to that one. Do you think, for example, the US will? Hell, your country even withdrew from the International Criminal Court, because Americans would not be exempt from it!

Saddam and the UN are much higher on my "bad guy" list than Bush.

Just how did the UN make it to your list of "bad guys"?

For example, did the US offer a resolution to intervene into Iraq when Saddam gassed Halabja and the UN refused? I don't think so :-)
