Dear Cheryl: I PRESUME that you are aware France and Russia had SWEETHEART oil deals in return for SELLING ARMS to Iraq at THREE TIMES their value and against the UN embargo. IF what you say is true, wouldnt you think WE deserve more their sweetheart oil deals for giving them their freedom, their right to free choice and their elimination of constant FEAR? As to the economy, I am quite sure Bush has as good a panel of experts as any other candidate would have, whether they be Democrat or Republican. NO ONE wants to have difficulties economically, but frankly we are in a WORLD WIDE downturn and its just gonna take some time to go thru this CYCLE. I have seen it before and I will tell you this: When its over AMERICA will come out STRONGER then ever. Why, cause we are one of the FEW IF NOT THE ONLY rich industrial nations that STILL has some semblence of WORK ETHIC. Talk to anyone who has been to Europe in a BUSINESS capacity and ask them THEIR opinion of workers there, if you dont believe me. jdn
