If their parents had not chosen to, or been forced to fight & die, there would not have been so many orphans. Time & history will tell whether Iraqi's learn the truth about the unnecessary deaths of their fathers. Hopefully the US will help Iraq become truly free & an accurate history of the why's, when's, where's & how's will be widely told. I would think that both Iraq & the US will do right by those very unfortunate orphans & raise them in a loving, quality environment. If not, your prediction may well come true.
