Sounds like the one-third going to the creditors means payment on the Globalstar bonds with stock worth about 15 to 20 cents on the dollar. I thought the bondholders should do better than this.

Total of 3.1 Billion in Debt is valued at 27 million dollars. Loral gets about 4.5%, Qualcomm about 6%, LMT about 1.5%, and the bondholders about 14%.

3.1 Billion in debt valued at 27 million results in debt being worth less than 1 cent on the dollar!
