What "wasteful spending"? You mean SDI, Crusader missile system, corporate welfare and pay-offs to war allies? How about paying for the re-construction of Iraq? Or 500 in increased military spending when no country even attacked us, just 19 terrorists and some shadow figures?

Bush's ideas include cutting veterans benefits, education, health care and dumping the debt onto the states.

Frankly, Clinton-Gore got rid of a lot of waste. Everything left except some new GOP pork is just cutting vital programs people not only depend upon but to a large degree have already paid for.

The real Bushie agenda is to "reform" (in other words loot and privatize) Medicare and Social Security, among other things. That will be the biggest ripoff of American taxpayers in history.
