You bring some good points on stocks but don't lose sight that the war may actually be holding them up. I readily admitt I've been wrong with the overall move in the market but this is similar to the Nov, Dec time frame of 2001 when the market rallied while we were in Afganastan.

I'm assuming we still rally for a while (for how far or long is anyones guess) but once we peak I assume we fall pretty hard versus the earlier grind down.

I suspect the guy who shorted EBAY at 62 will be in the
black before the bear is over. As for AMAT at 5 well all
I can say is that the bear is not over so it might
still get there. Today looked like a reversal day in the
markets to me as the market finally discounts the US
military victory and start focusing in on the economic fundamentals which in case you haven't noticed suck.
