That's pretty heavy. Do you think the war planners considered that Iraq might become picking grounds for Al Qaeda to capture US soldiers? Probably not. Heck, this Admnistration still thinks its bringing democracy to the Middle East.

Probably a greater tactic than this war, or any other one, would be for America to review the vetoes it has exercised over recent decades in the United Nations. Had some of those policies actually been adopted, we might not be seeing the terrorism we're seeing today.
