He is a military analyst from India. I have noticed that Indian army generals were remarkably right about the course of Gulf War I, even as the rest of the world was talking about prolonged ground wars, the "fearsome" Republican Guards etc. They have good experience of combat with Pakistan and in that region in general and so it makes sense to pay attention to what they say. And I certainly wish that nobody is harmed -- soldiers or civilians and hope that this phase of the conflict is resolved with the least fighting. Heck, even if the chickenhawks (IOW, practically the entire Bush administration) were to be there, I wish they don't get hurt...
