Wellstone rally had just one guy making a political speech. I watched most of it so I know. Up until then it was very moving and hardly political at all. Talking about how Wellstone fought for working people, etc. But one campaign zealot blew it for them. He had his reasons but fell right into the trap. Also very few people booed Lott. Just a smatter. But the GOP somehow made a huge deal out of it. And Jesse Ventura helped. He obviously doesn't like liberals or social conservatives. He's a socially liberal libertarian conservative. Also Mondale was the wrong choice. He was just too old.
