c"Frida" was wonderful! I highly recommend it. I went with a friend and we both thought it was one of the best movies we'd seen in ages. Diego Rivera has always fascinated me- and the movie is almost as much his story, as it is hers.

I don't know if you like mysteries, but I've always liked Ruth Rendell. I just finished her book of short stories- Pirranah (sp?) to Scurfy (very nice)- and I ran into a French production of one of her mysteries at our video store. It is called Alias Betty- and it is very good. I also enjoyed the Truth about Charlie- which is a remake of Charade. I thought Thandie (sp?) Newton was wonderful. Actually, everyone in it was wonderful. Plus the DVD comes with Charade- and it's always fun to compare movies.

Must go. I'm off to a conference. Enjoy the day. Hope your weather is as lovely as ours is.
