lurq- Those that have been successfully labeled as unpatriotic will have negligible influence in the ’04 election. no dude. that's buying into a false premise that should never be given energy in the first place. that's why you see all our representatives who you'd think would be denouncing the present administration, supporting it. that's why you saw the entire congress support this illegal war... fear of being seen as unpatriotic because they assumed that you and i had bought in to the false premise and that we wouldn't vote for them next time around. YOU KNOW DAMN RIGHT i won't vote for them now... because they misunderestimated me... and they voted according to the false premise. the premise that i wouldn't support a government that put compassion and freedom above fear and revenge and false security. give me compassion for all people of the world and freedom of speech and movement above any illusion of security... or give me death. my only real security is to face my own death with the the knowledge that i am a free soul, that i have compassion for all life in the universe and that i will live that paradigm and i will die for it. to kill for a lesser premise of protection of worldly goods and a false sense of personal security through firepower robs me of that.
