With HDTV set price coming down, more TV stations starting HD programs, cable companies starting carrying HD channels, and the 2007 deadline approaching, HDTV has been gaining momentum and reached the critical mass. I believe HDTV will, like the Color TV (vs BW), DVD (vs VCR), be deployed by most families within 5 years. Any one can make a list of SMALL companies that will benefit the most from this accelerated conversion/deployment of HDTV, being it a chip company, a carrier, an equipment vendor, a software maker, ... ??
