Paul, please name the person who you think wants to let Saddam off the hook for the things he did. I think you are confused and mean me. You appear to have misread my posts. Try reading again.

My point was correct about causes. Simpletons look for single causes and simple correlations. Things are not so simple as that. "The o-ring broke" was just one aspect of a complex situation when Challenger blew up.

I notice you make personally denigrating comment as a means of argument. <Does the Sheeple-man himself need his morning shot of Woolite?>

It was a simple point. Blaming Saddam for all the bad things that happen is silly. Many people get a chance to do really nasty stuff in the 'fog of war'. They should be held to account.
