There are so many more Watergates just sitting there, hidden in plain sight, and they are more widespread and galling than anything Nixon ever did" The only thing keeping the lid on, with hundreds of witnesses, is the threat of terrorism and fixing the courts under General Ashcroft. That's the reason for everything from no-knock rules to tribunals with secret execution authority, last-resorts if need be to silence pesky witnesses. It's already starting to break down tho', w. the 911 commission last Tuesday asking some of the "unanswered questions" in open session on CSPAN2, albeit at 1am
