Double talk. Yup, that sure was what you were engaging in. Up is down. Increase is decrease. Let's try Remedial Budget for Liberals: Whar Clinton did was to REDUCE (not eliminate) the federal BUDGET DEFICT. Now part of that was achieved by chicanery and trickery; part was real. For example, part was achieved by not paying for maintenance and replacement costs for the military. Since Clinton despised anyone with cojones (except his when Monica was present- -oh, sorry, Monica was never present alone with him, was she?), this was no problem - for him anyway; the bill comes due now. But only the budget deficit was (sort of) reduced. The fact that it was not 0 meant that that DEBT kept increasing each year.
