I believe Powell knows the threat clearly. He stated that if we didn't do something now it would allow Iraq to get further along and more would die later. In the hundreds of thousands is what he stated. The Palestinians believe Saddam has wmd, recently protestors chanted that they wanted him to use them on Israel now. The UN itself has confirmed he used them on the Kurds. Do you really believe he got rid of them? Why weren't they accounted for?
