The media has been largely hands-off Bush since 9-11, and before that he got the usual 6-9 month honeymoon period where they laid off to see what would happen. Put it together that's two years. Much ofthis however was due to the political strategy to attack Iraq and drown out all other issues before and after the mid-term election. It worked great. But now what? Once domestic issues are once again in the headlines Bush will be exposed as a one-issue president - war.
