The other reasons he cites why PPT is not believable are also questionable. He says that billions of dollars of losses can't be hidden for too long. Does anyone know the appropriations money that goes for secret or covert orgs such as CIA etc ? Lot of that only a cabal knows and they keep it a secret. It took a market crash to bring out shady accounting in companies such as ENRON, WORLDCOM and people are still uncovering rocks, and he thinks govt. accounting is all pristine and traceable.

John Mauldin is either naive and believes all that the admin puts out or he is part of the Admin. He is a close buddy of shrub and believes that shrub's religion is what makes him go to war with IRAQ. Talk about being misguided!

you lost me.

so goldman sachs etc basically gets a pile of cash with which to buy futures to ramp the markets by getting trading programs to kick in.

ok.

but the biggest trading programs belong to the same people supposedly colluding to ramp the futures. how can this work to raise the market if they're shorting their own long?
