Weapons are big business. I do not think there is a way to eliminate the selling of weapons to "rogue" nations- partly because nations we think are rogue, may not be considered rogue by Russia, China or the EU, and vice versa.

The risk, imo, was higher if we invaded Iraq. I hope I'm wrong. If I am correct you will soon see more terrorist events in the US, and attacks on our assets overseas. You will also see destabilization in the ME. I hope it doesn't work out that way, but I see our presence there as a big negative to the stability of the region.
