<Their To-Do list has been progressing nicely.> So far, yes. They've jumped off a 20-story building, and things are progressing nicely (currently at the 10th floor). But the easy part is over, the part they can do with tanks and planes and artillery. Those are the tools they love, the tools they are very very good at, these 21st Century Spartans. Now comes the hard part(s), where other tools are needed, tools they don't own, don't love, don't understand. I imagine some Pentagon procurement officer is desperately searching for a supplier of SGPJDAMDDMs (Satellite-Guided Precision JDAM Democracy-Delivery Munition) to carpet-bomb Baghdad, Damascus, and Karachi from 50,000 feet with euphemism-cloaked Islamist-evading B-52s.
