We agree on counter-terrorism. Got to be very-very tough.

But remember, we need all our allies to win the war on terrorism. That means on one hand being tough with any country that might harbor terrorists, but on the other hand keeping Europeans and Russia working with us not against us. Also, if we want to solve the North Korean problem, we need China. All of these alliances were put at risk by the way Bush went about going after Saddam. With a little more finesse and diplomacy he might have achieved the same result AND retained our strongest ties to crucial allies.

We'll see what happens next, but this post-war period could be costly and troubling. We may have taken out one menace but created another, not to mention the cost of the war aquarely on US tax-payers' shoulders. Would have been really nice to share that cost.
