Here's a timely problem. Daylight Savings.

Win XP adjusts all your files apparently because it treats you as so many time zones away from Grenwich.

Win 98 does not do that.

I have several computers, some with XP and some with 98.

I regularly synch my data through LapLink.

So- the problem is that tomorrow I will have files that are the same but will be an hour apart on their "modified" column because of Daylight Savings.

I know I can run all my files through laplink and synch but this will take a long time. I may miss some files on directories that I don't sync.

Anyone else have this problem and any suggested approaches?

the Cow,

Thanks again. Those were my thoughts. I noticed on eBay the 2000 Pro upgrade was going for 125 bucks. Ouch! Have never used eBay before but will give it a try.

New Problem. I recently subscribed to Stockcharts.com and really like the service with one exception. When I have a list of favorite stocks and want to view them collectively or singly, after doing so for several minutes, suddenly I am not able to get the chart to print. It generally is a two step process when it works. Usually the settings show and then the chart appears. I get as far as the settings and the system stops. It is not like a lock-up that I sometimes get on Netscape, where I have to reboot. Here, whether I am in Netscape or IE, it stops and I can leave the particular function I have been trying to complete and continue my merry way on the internet. No reboot required. On a support thread for Stockchart.com, it was suggested by another member experiencing the same problem, that it was an ISP problem and not the problem within my own computer or with Stockcharts. He recommended that I also download Cyberkit, which I did and run a Traceroute. The results of the TraceRoute was that Stockcharts was 16th on my response list when I tried to access the charts. I called my ISP and they had no CLUE other then giving me another phone number to access the web. That did not help. Any suggestions? Myron
