Pearly_Button,

If no WMD destruction are found in Iraq it will be the mother of all political shitstorms. It would be fatal to Tony Blair and Tony Blair falling would make George W. radioactive. If no WMD are found in Iraq, GWB would have to pull a Johnson and not run in 2004. There would certainly be talk of impeachment and given the Clinton impeachment resentment, it might be more than just talk. The US credibility in the world would be shot for a generation.

Of course, the bigger question would be, where did the WMD go?

Paul

>>so what are we doing here??? Selling WMD and arms to ME nutball countries and then preparing to invade them??<<

I believe it's called a 'lucrative business'.

ROFLMOAO!!!

I had to read it twice. 'toxic chemical precursors' is not 'toxic chemical weapons precursors'.

Britain sold Syria industrial chemicals.

The rest of the article is a brilliant bit of inference and implication about what Syria might have done.
