There are two flavors of Zionism, both toxic! There is the "Christian" Zionist which is based on the delusions of a cult which has abandoned the Church of Jesus Christ for the worldly racial kingdom of the Pharisees and Sanhedrin. Then we have the Jewish flavor which is the actual spiritual heir of the antichrist Pharisees who invented the post Second Temple Judaism now called rabbinic or Talmudic Judaism. Both flavors reject the divine origins of the Christian Church, but Jewish flavor also rejects the divinity of Christ while the "Christian" Zionist flavor gives lip service to Christ but rejects his Body the Church as well as many central aspects of the Gospels.

"Christian" Zionism is the most virulent Christian heresy of our ear. It glorifies the antichrist!

"Promised land and the Jewish people"

Who are the Jewish people, and what is the promised land?

The Hebrew nation of the Old Testament (old covenant) and the promised land were symbols or types of the spiritual realities God was trying to convey.

The promised land was the Kingdom of God that Christ would establish when he redeemed mankind. AFter Jesus established the New Covenant, the Jewish people became the Christian people--the Chosen became those who believed and trusted in Christ.

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY
Romans 2:28,29
28: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

IF YOU ARE IN CHRIST YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED
Galatians 3:28,29
"27": For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

"28": There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

"29": And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

<< The Bible clearly states what is the promised land for the Jewish people. They are more entitled to it, than I am entitled to American soil. >>

The Bible wasn't very generous with the Jewish people. Israel has a tiny piece of land, and is surrounded by huge areas of Arabs, all hostile towards little Israel. It is a damn shame that there aren't more peacemakers among the Arabs.

Jews have suffered from centuries of persecution and injustices. When I hear about the Bible's promises to the Jews I think about Tevye's lines in Fiddler on the Roof.

In one scene, Tevye is leading his lame horse back to the stable after a very difficult day. When he arrives at the stable, very tired, very poor and very frustrated, Tevye talks to God. He says: "I realize we're called the chosen people, but once in awhile, could you choose someone else?"

And you think the Bible is like a grant deed?

The Raelians also have an old book which says that their God, which lives in a distant galaxy, said that the United States is their promised land. Now, using your logic, should we give the land to the Raelians?

maybe you and your jewish friends ought to try reading the entire bible, not the just the torah.

for instance:

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

the case could be made, then, that modern italians have even stronger legal titles to roman province Judaea/Palaestina, and also to Britannia, to Gallia, to Hispania, to Mesopotamia, etc
should modern italians claim all these territories today? what do you say?
