"why do you think it's necessary for you to attack duly elected officials "

If they lie to the American people, the true rulers of this democratic nation, they should be criticized!

If they fabricate false intelligence to provoke Americans to support a war, they should be criticized!

If they subordinate American interests to an Israeli agenda to satisfy the Jewish constituents in the next election, they should be severly criticized and possibly tried for treason!

Do you really understand the difference between a democracy and a totalitarian regime? In a democracy, the people are the final authority of the government, not the elected officials. Elected officials are only given a two, four and six year trust and the people must once more decide on their competency. If the elected officials betray their trust, they are not only to be criticized but to be recalled by the people in a RECALL ELECTION! Do you get it now?

Because my duty as an American is to question authority when I see that authority acting in a way that is detrimental to the well-being of democracy and long-term American interests.
If you take that to be an attack, that's your own doing...not mine.

Now...are you capable of answering the question truthfully and with civility?

You don't know your history. It is the great American tradition to attack the policies of the people in power, as well as the people themselves. So he is carrying on the tradition of the American people. You are carrying on the tradition of any dictatorship and almost any monarchy every established- attack anyone who differs with the establishment. That really amuses me, since guys like you are the ones who would be really comfortable in a dictatorship. But of course I would never tell you to move to one. If you want to stay somewhere that isn't in line with your personal philosophy, who am I to tell you to go? You must have your reasons for staying.
