Yes, I had but I enjoyed it on a second reading as well.

The world is upside down and ... it will all be an interesting show.

It still amazes me that most people don't grok the magnitude of the changes underway. [I don't mean hear at FADG where most people, happily or not, have a good idea].

The UN is dead but still columnists write about getting UN legitimacy for the post-war Iraq. Huh? It's dead.

For better or worse, it's America's game now. America is the new UN, now let's see who wants to be a member. Evil tyrants and cheese eating surrender monkeys need not apply.

The President of Portugal summed it up when he gave his speech to the nation explaining why he is supporting the war over strong public opinion:
"If we are ever attacked it won't be France that comes to our defence, it will be the United States."

Imagine if the Ku Klux Klan got total control of Texas and its oil and used the money to run KKK schools all over the world. It's Saudi Arabia.

Contrary to pundits the hard-fought Anglo-American victory will not make us into hegemonists, but simply less naïve about tradition-bound relationships and the normal method of doing business.

To the extent one can say that 9/11 was a cause of the war, Hanson unfortunately seems to have forgotten its impact on how we will do business in the future. The Islamists may not know it, but they are catalysts for the kind of world they detest. But who ever said zealots are smart?

Except for this bit of a quibble with Hanson, a brilliant piece.
