That statement above is about as true as the oft Bush Admninistration-repeated comment that "Saddam kicked out the weapons inspectors." Fact is, he didn't.

I haven't seen writing from anyone on SI who supports Saddam. If you have, can you show it to me? I've seen lots of writing opposing this war, not supporting Saddam. Most of this writing is based in a belief that this war violates international law because a UN member is not to attack another UN member; is immoral because of the effects it is having on Saddam's victims and it has the potential to expand into a wider conflict, part of which is a belief that worldwide terrorism will increase because of it.

Sojourner, why are you making a blatantly false statement? Are you vying for a job in the Bush Administration?
